Feel bad that I'm feeling overwhelmed

Hi everyone
First post on here but felt I needed to get my feelings out. Today was parent and child day for my 3 year old autistic son at school everything was going okay untill another little girl got a toy that he wanted and he just had a total meltdown for the last 20 minutes.
I know he can't help his feelings due to his lack of speech and understanding, but I feel so bad for thinking that he seems to be the only one in his group who is like this.
I left early with him due to this and got home and just brokedown. Has anyone else been in this situation before so I don't feel like I'm the only one 😔😪

my sons 4 and autistic. I've been to one stay and play at nursery before taking him home a half hour in, it's just too confusing to him that mums there and it's not home time so realised its one of those where it's better not to go to them.

I'm hoping my son will get better as he gets on as it's only his first week. Seems to still be getting overwhelmed at the moment with the amount of children fingers crossed he's going to get used to this. Trying him for 1 hour sessions for a few weeks 🤞

Definitely very early days, worth booking a chat in with their senco if you haven't already had one.
