My 23 month old has recently started smacking me in the past 2 weeks and I’m really struggling with it. She’ll smack me on the arm, on the face, on the leg but repeatedly do it. Sometimes out of anger (when I’ve told her no to something) or sometimes just out of nowhere for a laugh. Please can someone help on how I should respond to this or how I can stop it?? She’s also doing it to our dog and she’ll go up to random bits of furniture and smack them too if she’s frustrated.
