Anyone else got a 9 month old that still won't go in her pram or carseat???

DD2 has always been a fowl tempered little thing.

For months and months I couldn't put her down but she wouldn't let me sit with her. Had to stand and carry her around.

I must admit there has been an improvement since shefinally got crawling last month.

She still cries everytime she gets undressed, everytime I dress her.

She still sobs after more than 5 mins in the car or pushchair. It's really still getting me down as everyone thinks she should be settled by now. I really hoped she would be.

Its only 84 days til her birthday and I really can't see it improving in that time. Will she always be this way???

I had one like that! Except she didnt care if I was standing or sitting as long as I was bfing her. She lasted for 5.5 months untill I gave up and put her on a bottle during the day, so she finally took a dummy.

So no advice (sorry) just wanted you to know you are not the only one and it does get better! My dds 4 and very independant now. She will be walking soon and I think thats when you will see the most impprovement

Well, thisisthelast, hello again!! You know what my ds is like so I won't bore you but all I can say is YES I have a 9 month old that regularly whimpers in the back of the car and SCREAMS to come out of the pushchair. Very embarassing and really upsetting when you see other babies happily sat in their buggies looking around. My ds still isn't crawling and is still has the most vile little character! I've given up hoing he will change now. Yes it's depressing and miserable at times but he can be so adorable. Just get peed off that everyone else seems to find it so easy and I'm still really struggling!

I feel your pain - my dd was like that! Crawling also helped with us - she could go and get things etc, not that she was ever great at entertaining herself. She is now 6, very bright, still a grumpy wee thing but lovely too.

I am sure you will find it gets easier once your dd is a bit older and can do things like look at a book in the pushchair, or understands some language so you can chat/sing to her while you're walking.
