11 month old frustrated/bumps on head

My little boy is now 11 months and starting to explore walking so I expected him so be bumping into things and falling. He fell backwards and quickly learnt to fall onto his bum or put his hands down first but he’s started wanting to walk straight after crawling/standing/cruising. It all seems to come at once haha. Which is great so I’m sure a big shift in development would impact his tiredness/mood.
Last day or two he’s been launching backwards out of my hands when I go to put him down to change him. I try my hardest to get him but he’s knocked his head last night and now done it again this morning. I can tell he’s frustrated with me for stopping what he’s doing (wanting to cruise around) to change him but he’s so upset when he’s hit his head and now I’m starting to worry. I was so worried about him last night even though he didn’t show any signs that is was more than just a bump. It just sounds awful and after he cried both times he’s back to his usual self.
Has anyone else had this phase? He’s never been happy about getting changed don’t get me wrong but he’s getting so strong and just out right annoyed about it that it leads to him hurting himself which obviously is why I’m getting so worried.
Thanks in advance. He’s my first baby. My mum had 4 and just says so long as he seems okay in himself he’ll be fine and it’s just development. It’s just so hard when they bump their heads my mind wonders to horror stories and I can’t chill.
