15 month old still not walking!

Daughter is almost 15 months and not walking/standing at all. She is barely pulling up on furniture. If I put her on her against the sofa or table she stands for about 4 seconds then drops onto her bum. Even this is only within the last week or two, before that she would just lift her feet and legs up when you tried to put her in a standing position. She gets up onto her knees using the furniture but won't do anything further. She gets frustrated easily and seems like she gives up.
She hasn't crawled "properly" either, at about 8 months she started belly crawling and never progressed from there.
At the 12 month HV appt they said she could need physio if she's not progressing by 15 months.
I'm starting to worry that something is wrong with her legs or physical development. Anyone else have any similar experiences?

I would take her to the GP on Monday so that they can investigate why she isn’t bearing weight on her legs yet and circumvent the HV on this one.

Not walking by 15 months is not unusual but if she’s not weight bearing the GP needs to find out why rather than just offer Physio Flowers

I think I will. It's so hard to know what to do sometimes, everyone you speak to or anything you Google has such contradicting information.
She has strength in her legs, like she climbs over us on the couch. And we put her in my friends bouncer the other day to see what she'd do with her feet and she was bouncing up and down on them.

I think most of the things online will probably be similar to the NHS advice which is to see the GP if they’re not walking by 18 months.

Most babies will be nearing weight on their legs though at 15 months, even if they aren’t actively taking independent steps. I think it’s this which is the issue hear rather than not walking.

If you do want to talk to the HV, say at your local weigh in clinic then I’d fill in the 15 month Ages & Stages so that she can see how she’s developing in all areas.

Your DD is at the youngest ages for the assessment though. She won’t be écœures to score white in every area. They are usually expected to score grey in two areas.

If the HV wants to “wait and see” try and get her to book an appointment with you there and then do that your DD doesn’t get forgotten.
