My 6 mth old ds has been really tired for the last couple of days, he is falling asleep after only about an hour of being awake when I normally have to do a bit of controlled crying to get him to sleep during the day - he is eating okay but not that interested in milk - is this normal at this age? Is it a growth spurt even though he's not more hungry than usual?

Thank you!! x

Yup, sounds like a growth spurt. DS1 did this at about 6 months and DS2 is in the throws of it Give it a few days and if you're still worried or he get grumpy/dozy when he's awake get your gp to check him over but it sounds normal to me

Brilliant, thank you, I feel stupid moaning about him being sleepy but it's so out of character! Thank you very much x
