my ds is 4months and increadibly clingy. dd is 3 & was an easygo lucky child who would be held by anyone. ds will cry if held by grandparents or friends and its driving me mad! I feel that they forgot to cut the cord!
Any suggestions to improve the situation would be gladly appreciated.

4 months? Poor lamb - he just wants mummy, and at that age it's pretty reasonable! I think you'll best build up his confidence by holding and comforting him as much as he needs - can you wear him in a sling?

auntyj just like my dd so clingy - sometimes won't even go to dh.

she is getting slightly better the older she gets now 24 weeks have resorted to sling to get anything done which has helped as I find for a while after being in the sling she is much more sociable.

I go back to work in Nov, and figure if it isn't better by then she'll just have to get used to it not much else we can do gotta work sometime. However, i was adament that she would go to a nursery but due to her temprament I am now considering a childminder.
