Struggling with my son his soon to be 3 this may.
He is that kid that stands out at every party or event like loud running around laughing always having a good time but almost too much of a good time example so excited that he stops listening. At parties will climb on the stage when told no he doesn’t listen, runs around pushes ornaments over, throws sand or anything really, takes balloons down his just wild.
he can’t talk says literally one or two words a day, which drives me insane because at 1.5 he would copy what I told him
too and say a lot more then he says now, now he just blankly stairs at me like he has no clue when I know he does example - what are you holding? (Toy horse) just looks at me blank. Same day a horse in a field “wow! Horse! “ doesn’t speak all week then “who’s that!?” Or “what the hell “
says up down push pull car go and wow and can say all the animals when he feels like it, I feel like he is smart I can see him pointing at things like his counting in his head (he only says two) and he
can understand things I’m saying within reason (let’s go bath or car or can you get me this)
doesnt seem to do the obvious signs of autism no tiptoe walking, no obsession with spinning or any stims, nothing stands out. He does really like plastic animal toys and occasionally lines them up, it’s just that his naughty runs off doesn’t listen some days some days he does, doesn’t really seem interested in kids sometimes his buzzing and runs up to them to play and then ignores them maybe because he can’t engage in conversation?
hates photos won’t smile for camera, won’t eat meat.
im not sure what the point of this is just a list of problems with my kid really but wanted to know anyone else’s thoughts.
