Belly Button Dirt

My DD (18 months) has some dirt in her belly button. Not sure how to remove it as it's caught up in the creases. Any ideas?

Use a damp cotton ear bud. Be gentle though.

My ds gets this. I let him soak in a warm bath for a while while I sing (terribly!) to him, til it gets all mushy (yuk), then it comes out quite easily with a cotton bud or sometimes just with a towel. Yuk!

A bit of baby oil or almond oil will loosen it. Leave in for a day, then a put her in warm bath and gently clean out.
