what car seat for 10 month old for BMW X5 please??

prob not posting in right place but cant see a car seat topic.

need to get 2nd car seat for ds asap and confused. mothercare said britax only fits in middle seat - not ideal for putting ds in and out. also they said maxi cosi not suitable uinless isofix which is 100 quid dearer.

what do any of you X5 drivers have??

really - maxi cosi only as an isofix?

we have a maxi cosi priori and a tobi and neither are fixed using isofix

mind you, i don't have an X5 ...

We have an x5 and have the maxi cosi tobi. It isn't the isofix one and i can't understand why you would "need" that in a certain type of car. If i were you i'd call maxi cosi.

My friend has the Britax Duo Plus Isofix in her X5 on the outer rear seats, Halfords fitted it for her. If you go onto their website, it is on offer for £149. You can reserve and collect it from your local store and they will fit it for free for you. On Britax's website you will see that the Duo Plus is fine for the outer rear seats.

Sorry its £159 but still a good price. I rang Britax for my friend (she hates doing stuff like that!) and they said they sell the same one to Mothercare (its called the MACH) and Mothercare just re-brand it with their name on it. It sells for £200 in the shop.
