Hi My 11mnth old son is a thumbsucker-i never let my daughter suck her thumb but have been more relaxed with no2! However he not only sux his thumb but he rubs his eye aswell! His finger gets right inside his eye and rubs along the inside of the top eye lid against his eyelashes. Its almost an obsession as he tries to do it to me or my daughter if were all lying together reading a story and he is sucking his thumb. (He has found the eyelashes of my daughters baby doll quite a temptation!) Sometimes I see him fall asleep with his finger in his half shut eye (Ive seen this twice) I am giggling while I write this as it is so funny to see, but I am also very concerned. Does anyone have any advice or any little ones who do the same? Is it damaging? Will he stop? He is too young to stop at the moment and there is no way I can stop him myself! Im scared he will hurt or damage his eye ball. I feel quite anxious that he is not normal! Thanks
