18 month old gulping air

I have an 18 month old daughter, and for the last few months she’s started gulping air. She does this constantly, and ends up with trapped wind. Midwives noticed a tongue tie when she was born, but it’s never caused her any problems eating/drinking. I don’t know what’s causing this or how to put a stop to it, as she can make herself quite uncomfortable.

Anyone experiencing anything similar or have any suggestions?

(we have a HV appointment this month so I will be bringing this up then)

Is she gulping the air when drinking?

No, she drinks and eats absolutely fine. She does seem to maybe gulp more after she’s had her bottles of milk, but not during.

That's not really one I've come across before. Wonder if it's something to do with the milk? Maybe she's feeling uncomfortable after having it? Which milk is she on?

She’s on whole milk, has been for around 6 months now. She had CMPA when she was born but made the switch really well and has no issues with dairy products. It’s not like she fusses when she does it, she only seems to get uncomfortable when she’s too bloated from the gas. I’ve been reading on something called aerophasia which sounds similar but I’m really not sure!
