Nearly 6 month Old

My baby boy is nearly 6 months old (next week) he’s not rolling over. Will roll onto his side but not go any further. He’s not fully sitting unassisted but will for a minute with my behind him incase he falls. Should I be worried?

Absolutely don't worry. Development goals are just a guide and every child is different. Enjoy these moments of watching him struggle and eventually succeed. Because very soon, he'll be running around grabbing everything that isn't bolted down.

Thank you! I think I just over think as other babies his age are rolling over or sitting independently. Yet he’s so close to doing both those things (in a fashion!) but not quite there yet I didn’t know if I should be concerned

No I haven’t but I will sure try that tomorrow by placing a few around him!

It just gives you a chance to try and engage him more which might hopefully give him a chance to stay sat up straight longer.
