Hello - I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar with their kids and could please give me any advice!
my 20 month old is definitely on the slower side with his speech, he mainly says mama and dadda, he has occasionally said other words but nothing too consistent. He also doesn’t copy sounds I make, like animal noises! I did see a speech therapist when he was around 18 months and she said to give him a few more months to see how he gets on. He is at childcare 4 days a week where they are hands on with the kids, I am always reading to him and constantly talking to him about what I am doing etc! Any advice welcome please - thank you!
