Hello, my son is 27m old. He has about 100+ words/sounds/gestures, lots of words are hard to understand by stranger but I know what he mean and some words are clear. He has some phrases like "where is ball", "here is plane", "I am hungry", "hi dad" etc and some as with his words some phrases are clear and some not. He know whole alphabet, basic colors, numbers up to 12. He can solve puzzles easily (even for 3y+ toddlers). He can point everything I ask him or answer some questions like "what is it", "where it hurts" and following commands ("get your shoes", "bring me the ball") etc. But I watched younger toddler who has full complex conversation with his parent and since that I am concerned but by CDC milestones he is in the range of normal maybe on the lower end. His pediatric doctor is not concerned but I am. Is this in range of normal? Or someone with similar toddler?

There will be a huge variety of abilities at this age and really you shouldn't compare your LO to just one other Toddler, but you probably know that already Wink

It's really good that their Paediatrician isn't concerned at all.

If you do want to do a good progress checker that's just for SLT but can be a really good indicator of possible issues, then try this one from Speech & Language UK Flowers
