Trying to cook the baby!

Any tips on how to cook dinner while DD 10months wants picking up??

I've tried the sling but I have a bad back and it's not always convenient when cooking bending down picking up pots and pans etc

I brought a toddler tower so DD can stand in it and see what I'm doing and higher up as I thought she had fomo and wanted to see what's going on but soon realised she wants me to carry her.

I love cooking and my husband is helpful but he is usually at work when I start dinner. Not really an option to wait for him to get home then start dinner as he comes late.

Help please!!!
My daughter is not difficult but doing household chores with her is difficult!

Could you cook whilst they're napping?

Bring a comfy chair or cushion into the kitchen with a blanket and let little one chill on there whilst you cook. Their likely to not want to to start with but keep repeating mummy can't hold you right now you can rest here or stand here (the stand you have).

It's a really aggy time of day so try and do your prep earlier so your time in the kitchen is less.

Not sure what your trying to cook but maybe simplify it for days your husband isn't home.
