I am a new member, and it's my first time to share this problem, My son always says he is sad, that he doesn't have friends, and he prefers to spend time on his computer, he quit attending face to face class, so we have to put him to Homeschooling, but it seem like nothing change, he still says, he is sad, he don't have friends, and if I ask him if he is ok or if he is sad, he always tell me he is ok, but then when sleeping time comes, that's when he starts saying, he is sad, he don't have friends and that I don't care about him.I don't know what to do .

That must be difficult @ConfuseMom.

How old is your DS? What were his reasons for stopping going to school? He must have had significant issues for you to make this change?

If you're in the UK have you spoken to the GP and is he under CAMHS?

He's probably lonely since being home schooled.

Limit his screen time
Try out some local home school clubs
Join some small groups for him to develop connections

If he's autistic, you build some links with other parents in similar circumstances and learn from them

He doesn't need a mental health service, just needs a balance to his life.

Good luck!
