Im hoping to find some advice or comfort. I have a 13 month old little boy and it’s my first child!
He had his 12 month review yesterday and i’ve drove myself crazy with it, reading things online that honestly i think are scaremongering 🤣🥲
He isn’t talking at all, he makes noise but just like screaming or just gibberish🤣 he was such a quiet baby and has only a couple months ago starting this - he barely cried when he was a baby unless he was tired/hungry. He isn’t pointing to things or showing me things/bringing me things. Doesn’t really respond to his name and only really gives me good eye contact when he’s on my knee and we are singing or something. If at soft play he couldn’t care about his age or younger but acknowledges toddlers who chase him🤣🤦🏽♀️ He also couldn’t give a care in the world about a book😅
Hes basically walking, mastered like every toy he has, loves a cuddle, sleeps great, loves his food, laughs at loud noises or bothered by literally any noise just finds it funny!, loves the bath, he literally doesn’t stop he is so so busy and i can’t tell if that’s the reason? he’s absolutely crazy, if i was to sit and do flash cards, books he’s off like a shot he can’t sit still🤣
i’m just worried about things after reading stuff online and maybe im not doing something right. Does this sound like autism or am i really overthinking the situation? (not that it changes him but it’s obviously something that plays on your mind)
Health visitor said he’s doing amazing with everything else as boys are usually quite lazy with the walking etc! he has been referred for a hearing test but passed the one at birth. anyone else’s baby hitting all the other milestones and these ones fell behind? he’s got such a cute perfect little personality and i want to do everything for him I can ❤️
