DS2 now just over 5 months old and still has really bad wind - it doesn't get trapped any more thank gd as he can now bring most of his wind up himself, however he burps and farts ALL day and even wakes himself up in the night. Is this normal - DS1 was never like this. He is on Cow and Gate Comfort, I have wondered if it might be the formula but am too scared to change it

lol, awwww bless, be brave and try something else, maybe regular c+g, my lily was a windbag when she started drinking c+g formula after being bf 7 months exclusively, i put her on aptamil and it sorted it, still farts but normal amount now

I think all babies are quite farty but it doesn't hurt my ds anymore like it used to. I think most formulas have similar ingredients (apart from the comfort/stay down/ soya ones) so I'm not sure that changing will help but you can always give it a go! I can;t see as it would do any harm. x
