13 month old not crawling, pulling to stand or walking

Hi, my baby boy is 13 months old as is still not showing signs of crawling, pulling himself up or walking. He can also not sit up from lying down. He has been bum shuffling since he was about 10 months old and has a very strong core. He has always hated tummy time which I think is why he hasn’t learnt to crawl. He weight bears really well as he loves to walk around holding our hands. Should I be worried that he isn’t pulling to stand or sitting up from lying down? I know all babies develop at their own time but do you think I should try and get him referred for some physio? I have no other concerns and he is brilliant with his fine motor skills. I don’t know if I’m just overthinking it as he gets around so well from bum shuffling so maybe he is just happy doing that for now? Any advice would be much appreciated xx

I think that crawling had been removed from the milestones now so I wouldn't worry about that.

Has your HV done the 12 month check yet? Wink

If he is bearing weight and walking holding hands it doesn’t sound too worrying. Just get lots of walking practice in and he will be doing it by himself soon. Not all babies crawl.

For us it was about 4 months from walking holding hands to independent steps although my daughter was much more delayed than your little one.
