I've never had an issue with my 2 year old before dropping him off at nursery but today was the first day he cried as soon as he realised where he was, it broke my heart, I had to run out the door and just leave him. I feel really upset by this and I just want to go and pick him up!
He is becoming very clingy to me, even if I'm at home and have to pop out somewhere, or even as small as going to the toilet, he will always try to find me and say "mama". Is this something that will just get better over time or is there something that I need to be doing to help with his separation anxiety?
I am worried me leaving him at nursery could be making the situation worse or am I best to just keep taking him and leaving him? I feel very stuck, confused, not sure what is wrong or right
