Since birth my son has always preferred to be with his dad. Now as a toddler he’s very vocal that it’s dad’s turn or daddy do it. If I’m not around he’ll keep saying mum or mummy but when I’m there he doesn’t bother with me. If I try to take him up for bed he’ll fight me until he gets his dad.
It makes me feel so useless, I genuinely don’t know why I’m here other than to cook and clean. My husband tried to encourage him to spend more time with me or to allow me to do things but it never works.
