My ds is 25 months. The clingyness has gone up to a million. I can't do anything around the house or help the other kids. He has to be sat on me all the time. Even if I just stand up the crying starts and he's dragging me back to the sofa. I can't even get myself a drink without an epic meltdown. None of my other were like this is it something to worry about or just need to wait?

If I'm not around he's fine dosent cry for me. I work part time and he's fine.

Some kids are just velcro kids and like to be attached all the time!
I would say since he's fine when you're working it's nothing to be worried about.
I wonder would it help if you started inviting him everywhere when in the house such as "come to the kitchen with me I'm getting a drink" "come to the bedroom with me I need to hoover" "come to your sibling with me while I help them with x" basically flipping the situation of you wanting him rather than him wanting you. He'd likely get bored of it and start thinking I'd rather be here doing this instead of having to follow mum
