Right sided preference

DD is 7.5 months old. She will only roll to the right. She plays with both hands and grabs/holds toys perfectly well. She does seem to have a right sided preference and i'm a bit concerned because I know this should happen for a while.

I think it is a matter of degree. I've known DD1 was left handed since before she was six months old. She'd had a difficult birth, so there was reason to be keeping an extra close eye, and I could tell she used the left just that bit more than the right, did things with that side first, etc. She's five now, completely fine, but is indeed left handed. Obviously there are other situations where a preference for one side does end up being a sign of something wrong, but for us, it was nothing.

So your DD can play and grab with both hands, but I guess she uses the right more? How long has she been rolling? Will she roll the other way if something is blocking her from rolling her preferred way? Does she sit straight (either independently or in, say, her highchair)?

@skkyelark she's only been rolling for about 3 weeks. She won't roll to the left, she will if i guide her but not on her own. She lays on her right side to play, but won't on her left. She sits straight supported, unsupported for a short time. When she eats, she grabs with her right hand, she will use her left with encouragement.
