Hi. looking for some advice.
My son is 25 months old. he has lots of words and has gained lots of skills at this stage. he can count until 15 and knows all his colours and a lot of his alphabet. He says such things like a for apple etc. He is a loving caring boy and is very attached to me. I think he sees me more as a friend then a parent lol. He has recently started nursery and is beginning to enjoy it. I didn't have any concerns about him until I went down the autism rabbit hole! I have two friends who have children with autism. one with some issues and the other has quite a lot of issues.

The only issue that I am slightly concerned about is his communication. He understands quite a lot of what we say to him although sometimes he doesn't follow instructions. We are bilingual in our home so he is learning 2 languages. He does not ask for what he wants. He hand leads most of the time. He does sometimes ask for things in desperation whilst crying such as milk if he is hungry but does this if he sees his bottle only. I have spoken to the HV and she seems to think he is doing ok however he has not had his 2 year development check yet. My wife and my mum who spend a lot of time with him (more than myself) don't have any concerns and neither do any other family members. however I feel like I have driven myself mad with worry. Anyone else been in a similar situation and things work out ok?

I feel like I am ruining my time with my son as I cant help over analysing his behaviour.
