My son is 10 months old and he is crawling asymmetrically (to the side). Please can someone advise on the type of doctor he should see to get help? I plan on taking him to see the GP but the NHS haven’t been amazing, so I’m keen on seeing a specialist in addition to my GP.
My son started crawling at 5 months but just before Christmas I noticed him crawling asymmetrically. He is going to have some physio but based on what I have seen online I understand that in some cases asymmetric crawling could be caused by or lead to dyslexia, ADHD, or autism. I’m aware the internet is awash with unregulated information hence my desire to see a specialist.
Ideally I’m looking for one specialist who will assess him physically and another that would look at him neurologically.
