Desperate for some suggestions please. TIA

My little one will be 4 in the next couple of weeks and starting primary school in September, recently his behaviour has become more challenging and nothing seems to work.

He goes to Nursery for 3 days a week and is it home with me for the other 2 days. On nursery days, he refuses to get out of bed and to get dressed, this ends up in a battle each morning and when I eventually get him dressed, I turn my back he has already removed all of his clothes. So its taken a silly amount of time to get him dressed in the mornings.

Then its bedtime this has been the most challenging recently, I always let him know how long he has left before its bedtime so its not unexpected but as soon as bed time comes, he says I want 10 more minutes and then he refuses to come upstairs to bed so I end up taking him up and putting him into bed, this where he then becomes quite angry and starts to lash out which is mainly either kicking the wall, throwing toys or trying to hurt me, I offer to give a cuddle and then say let mummy tuck you in and then we can read a story which doesnt work. He then uses delay tactics to stall bedtime by saying hes hungry, thirsty, needs a toilet etc. This can last for over an hour of where he is screaming & kicking, I end up leaving the room to give him some space and then going back in there to try to calm him down and get him settled and it just doesnt work.

There is times where he has asked for something and ive said he is not allowed it so he will headbut & hit me, I will always get down to his level and firmly say we do not hit or hurt anyone, we must of kind hands. He will 99% of the time, continue to try to hurt me so I move him away and then he will say "let me hurt you" so I will then validate his feelings by saying I know you feel angry & frustrated but you musnt hurt somebody, I then try to get him to take a deep breath but he isnt interested.

He has a reward chart for being kind, going to nursery & listening but for the past week or so, this hasnt worked as well as it previously did. So I have started to take away the things he loves like his tablet or a favourite toy etc.

I just dont know what else to do!

Does anyone have any other suggestions please.
