My 9 week old feeding behaviour

Hi,

I'm after some advice please. My 9 week old doesn't seem to take much at feeds, he will often only take 2-3oz every 2 hours for feeds in the day and will wake twice in the night for another 2-3 oz feed.

Occasionally he has taken and finished a 4oz bottle and yesterday randomly finished a 5 oz.

The health visitor is keen for me to up his oz regularly but they couldn't advise on how to do this. Does anyone have any experience of this please? I'd love to get him to regularly take 3-4 oz on feeds.

Is he bright and alert at times and putting in weight?

He is bright, hitting development milestones and putting on weight but the health visitor wasn't happy with how much weight he had put on. It was something like a pound less than it should have been for his percentiles

It's really good that he's bright and alert at times. Hungry babies tend to be subdued.

Do you know what weight centile he was when he was born and which one he's in now?
