Toddler busted sleeping bag and duvet!

My DD (2) has always slept in a sleeping bag but recently has become very very fussy about it. Refuses to wear it at night and I've had to sneak it on her when she's an asleep. Then she wakes up in the night and takes it off and is super angry about the whole thing.

So I thought maybe she's ready for a duvet but she hates that too! Will just rip it straight off and if I put it on when asleep then she will kick it off if she wakes up and gets cross. Also tried her with a knitted blanket but same thing happened. I was thinking maybe she's too hot but her room isn't that warm at the moment (I definitely wouldn't be able to sleep without something over me) and also now she's saying she's saying she's cold (and she feels cold).

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips and ideas welcome! Is she confused between hot and cold?

My DD (2.5 years) started getting uncomfortable in her sleeping bag a few months ago as she seemed to be outgrowing it despite it being up to 3 years. I don’t think she’s ready for a duvet yet as she moves around a lot at night so I have swapped her to a tog sleepsuit (worn over pyjamas) which is working so far.
