Gamefudge.com - suitable for an 8yo?

My DS has been able to play games on the 'puter for about a year. He usually plays internet games sites since the mac is quite old and we don't buy him games for it. He started out with things like DrWho and Lego but has started to move onto other game sites now (usually with a little help, his spelling is terrible ). The other day we got him onto gamefudge and I thought it looked OK, I spent a long time playing the traffic light game - v. addictive.

Today I looked at the game he was playing which although it was stick men was graphic and violent. So, now, what do I do? I told him that I didn't want him to play violent shooting/war games but I'm wondering weather to block the site entirely. Computer is on the landing, full view and we can hear the damn thing all over the house.

Tho'ts?

Those game sites have some pretty awful stuff on. I would monitor carefully. Ds 1 (10) goes on with his mates, but I keep a close watch - some of the links look a bit dodgy!

Thanks for the tip. Will monitor more closely from now on.

Shame, some of the games are great.

Yes they are! But it's the dodgy ones they always want to go on!
