Hey, bit of a long one, but me and my partner moved in with my mum and dad 6 months ago with our son who now 2.4 years old, but at the same time my brother and his partner also moved back in with my mum and dad with their daughter who is now just turned 2. My son is so sweet and caring, but I am finding he lashes out and my niece just randomly and is very territorial over toys! She has a calm nature whereas my boy is 100 miles per hour and is a little boisterous sometimes. I can’t relax or leave them to play as I don’t want him to hurt her, I have tried gentle parenting, shouting, the naught step etc he just laughs, and also laughs when we tell him not to touch anything. He only does this in my mum and dad’s house, everywhere else he is the kind little boy we know him to be! Has anyone else experienced this and have any advice? I know it’s a big change for him, moving, also moving nurseries, and having a house full when it was just the 3 of us before, but also could be coinciding with the 2 year old phase! Help! Thank you x
