Yay, Ds finally got a joke

He is 5 and I have been a bit worried about him always taking things so literally. I could never joke about with him, say 'oh you are funny', or call him a 'cheeky moneky' etc as he took me so literally every time.

Anyway, was just getting him ready for bed, and I told him I was going to bath him in the morning because he was a bit stinky (joke), and he started to say 'no i'm not', and then stopped and said 'haha, it's a joke'

I am so pleased about something that seems so daft.

Oh that's so lovely!

Bless him, I suppose sarcasm and humour are hard concepts for lo's to understand but he'll get there!
