My toddler is 18 months old and keeps running off and trying to join other adults when we go to groups. It's a bit embarrassing (a lot) as I know they go to spend time with their own kids but I also feel quite rejected.
other mums have their kids sitting on their knee or trying to interact with them and mine can't get away quick enough.
Is this normal? What can I do to stop him? (I do chase him appropriately so it's not a game and call him back to me) or is it just me he doesn't like spending time with
