My 4 1/2 years old is constantly on the go. Jumping, leaping, climbing furniture or making repetitive noises. When sitting still, rearly, she need sensory feedback. She constantly want to sit on me, cuddle me, have a body part touching me. She's highly sensitive.she gets hysterical if she's put on time out. I'm starting to wonder about ADHD. My husband has also suggested that ADHD. The school haven't raised any concerns. Although, they have said she's s sensitive soul and she often goes to medical. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience of ADHD in girls and what that looks like for them.

As a rule I don't think the Paediatricians are usually willing to assess for ADHD for another couple of years?

Are you in the UK? You could do the 4.5 year Ages & Stages and the Social & Emotional Ages & Stages and discuss the results with the School Nurse service it see your GP?

If she is ND regular discipline techniques are unlikely to work. You might need a copy of The Explosive Child Flowers

That's ok @WhoopsNow. How did you get on with the progress checkers?
