Hi, my 2.5year old has had some difficulty sleeping for many months . It used to be that half of the days she would sleep through and the other half she would wake. The concern I have is that it's taking up to 2 hours to fall asleep, despite no tv for 2 hrs prior, dimming the lights, doing a bath , using some brown noise etc . Then she wakes in the night, we let her self settle and usually within 30 mins she cried and then we go to soothe her. We don't change her nappy unless it's very heavy nor do we give her extra milk as we don't want to build a habit though after an hour , we have to give her milk as she's restless. It is taking about 3 hrs in the night to pop her to sleep. She doesn't sleep in her cot but we camp out in her room and then transfer her to the cot when she falls asleep. Last night , she woke at 1230am and didn't sleep til 5am. We are pretty exhausted and our daughter is not getting enough hours of rest. She has a speech delay also so restorative sleep is so important. Any tips at all please? Thank you
