My name is Lucy Carreck, and I am a trainee studying Play Therapy at Roehampton University.
Are you a parent or carer with a newborn or expecting a baby willing to allow me to observe your interactions to deepen my understanding of early childhood development and behaviour in your home?
For my training, I need to observe a typically developing infant aged between 1 day and 3 months from January 2025 until they are around 18 months old (approximately 20 observation sessions altogether)
I understand the importance of respecting your family's time and routines. I aim to schedule weekly one-hour sessions at the same time and day, with flexibility around holidays.
I will conduct the sessions professionally and ethically, ensuring your privacy by taking anonymised notes with no identifying information. As part of my coursework, some of these notes may be discussed in my seminar group for educational purposes.
I have an enhanced DBS check and professional indemnity insurance.
