Shape sorters

Anxious mama here. My dd is 20 months old. She can do a very basic 4 piece shape sorter easily but doesn't enjoy more complex ones. Is this a critical milestone?

Not one I've heard of. Hopefully someone will be along soon who knows more

Mine is nearly 2 and never been interested in shape sorting.

I really wouldn't worry – it just sounds like she's not interested at this point. I don't think there's anything like that on the development questionnaires the health visitors use either. And it may be that next month she suddenly loves them.
