Is this teething?

My 11 month old has been sleeping awfully the last few weeks, but the past few nights is suddenly kicking out, scream crying and arching his back (LOTS of waking) - sticking him on the boob settles him. Is this a new teething symptom? He had a temp the night before last. He hasn't reacted like this before - has his bottom 2 and cut top 2 last week quite uneventfully. He's also become very clingy to me, started a couple of days at a childminder's a few weeks ago, recently got over a cold, is on the cusp of learning to walk. So much going on for him!! He's very happy and chilled in the day. I think maybe I'm just hoping someone will tell me this happened to them and it will pass soon, because sleep has been really bad for a while now and it feels like it will never end! Thanks as always x

It could be teething or it could be learning to walk or it could be something else.

If he has pain relief does he sleep any better?

@TinyMouseTheatre pain relief doesn't seem to help the sleep. I think maybe it is just all of the new things happening for him and learning to walk 🩷

My 11 month old has been the exact same! Waking in the night at 2.30 and taking 2 hours to settle. She has got the two top teeth and bottom am they came through without any fuss and she's been different with these ones so could be the norm! I have a 6 year old and can't remember but I do know a runny nose is common when teething. Hoping it settles soon xx
