1 year old’s behaviour struggles

Hi, I need advice on what to do, my nearly 2 year old has nonstop cried and screamed since the day he was born (I wish I was exaggerating) I’ve been to doctors and nothing is physically wrong or anything, I’ve asked his health visitor if it’s normal and she said he’s just a crier

im really struggling to cope with it all the time, I’m a stay at home mum with a 4 year old aswell, he has possible autism and struggles to handle my youngest crying a lot of the time.

ive tried everything to help him and figure out what’s wrong but nothing I do works, he won’t sleep at night even with a bedtime routine, he forces himself to stay awake until usually between 12-3am, it’s really hard when I get no sleep because he cries in his sleep too

any advice is welcome!!!

I'm surprised that your HV has said that he's just a crier, especially if he's regularly not going asleep until the early hours and your first has ASD and it can be hereditary.

I would ask to see her again about it but before you do, fill in 2 year Ages & Stages and the 2 year Social & Emotional Ages & Stages abd ask her to mark them

I’ve been trying to see what it could be since he was 3 months old and she just kept saying it’s normal, no babies the same and he’ll grow out of it

That's a posing but we've had similar.

See if you can fill in the questionnaires I posted and see her again. If you can't get an appointment with the HV I'd go to the GP
