Not that I mind one way or the other. I'm just interested in how these things develop.

The first time he grabbed something it was with his left hand, although he happily uses both now. But what really made me think he might be a budding leftie is that every time I change his nappy, the first thing he does is reach down and grab for his willie with his left hand! Gotta love boys

I'm left handed, his dad's right handed. DS is 5 MO

Don't know much about the technicalities of it but our DD1 is looking like she will be left handed too.

DP and myself are both right handed but DD's Great Gran after who she was named was left handed (freaky, hey!)

As with your DS she has favoured eating, picking up things etc with her left hand since approx 6 months.

She now favours that hand for writing, drawing etc (is 3 1/2)but will also use right hand at times. Think it's a matter of wait and see.
