Is it possible to catch up?

My 11 month old is showing delays in some areas of development currently. Is there anyone who has been through similar? Can they 'catch up'?

Any help very much appreciated x

what kind of delay do you mean ? Minor differences/delays in development don't usually have any significance but more serious delays could need investigating - As everyone will tell you 11 months is very young, what are you concerned about ?

My baby is unable to sit up without assistance.

I would check this with the Health Visitor if possible - you have nothing to lose by asking for advice. I know it's hard not to worry when most babies will have reached this milestone by 11 months but all you can do for now is monitor and flag this for checking with HV

Has the HV done the 12 month check yet and if so, what were the results?
