Lazy eye

We've been told by the health visitor that my 10 month old has a lazy eye. She's referring us but we've not heard anything from the surgery and I can't stop worrying about it. I'm not sure what that means really and the more I look online the more I worry myself. I can't see how she'd wear a patch or glasses without taking them off!I didn't think it was terribly bad, most people wouldn't notice it. Has anyone had any experience?

Yes DS1 was referred at 7 months and they said that the muscles were probably a bit immature and it would right itself, which it had hy the next appointment. I'd chase up the appointment, just to make sure they have the referral really but don't worry too much Flowers
