I applied for dla for my 12 year old in April for autism (awaiting screening) sleep problems sever anxiety and ptsd from trauma caused by abuse from father. I hadn't heard anything from them for ages so called to be told they hadn't recieved the form I sent back 20th April. They sent another one and told me to put a not in saying I did send application previously but it had bot been recieved and there would be a possibility it would be back dated. They recieved new form 31st october i called this yesterday and was told.it was with decision maker. So how long are we looking at now and what's the chances of backdated if she is awarded and I don't have to fight it. It's been along time since iv had dealing with them over dla my eldest was on it but we had a overwhelming amount of hospital doctors and phycology reports that it was done very quickly.
Iv been waiting 16 weeks for my own mandatory reconstruction to be even looked at on pip. I'm hoping we done have to fight here's. She has a 1 to 1 when she does attend school.but that's not often and only for.at most 4 hrs..she's been referred to lots of different places for tests and assessments that we are awaiting but obviously currently have no reports yet so they will.just be going off the form.
