My daughter is turning 2 next month and my son is 5 days old, my daughters tantrums are becoming so bad, she can’t say many words yet but does have good understanding of what you are saying to her and if she is told no she will scream so loud and tense up and shake, sometimes there’s no reasoning with her at all i really feel like im failing her

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Parenting is hard isn’t it and such a minefield.

does distraction help or just plain ignoring the tantrum so she’s not getting any reenforcement from her tantrums. I used to do that with my daughter and just sort of walk into the other room and then when she calmed down we would have a cuddle then.

have you got anyone who can have her for a night just so you can get a break and a rest. It will get easier. I know everyone says that but before you know it it really will be better xx
