11 month old not crawling or walking yet

My LO is 11 months and can sit perfectly unassisted but she doesn’t same to be making any strides to crawl or pull up to walk. When sitting she leans right across to just get what she wants. Should I be very concerned? Or has anyone been in a similar situation with their baby? Thanks in advance!

She does but for a bit then sits down again

The most important thing is that she can stand, even if you're holding her hands. What can often stop DC walking is a problem with their hips. If you're saying she can stand of you hold her hands I suppose if depends on if she is happy to stand and will do it for a minute or two or if she's grumbling about standing and immediately going back to the floor?

Will she stand by the sofa if you place her there and put a couple of toys on it for her to explore?

I haven’t tried standing her by the sofa yet. I’ll try that. I had her stand by me yesterday and I barely had to hold her hands. But she gets bored then and wants to sit down . All her other skills is perfect. She babbles away, waves and points and great fine motor skills . Just this development delay has me worried sick

I'm not sure it's a development delay is it? Walking isn't a concern until they hit 18 months and I think, although I could be wrong, that crawling has recently been removed from the milestones?

Yeah you’re right a friend said that to me also that crawling isn’t considered a milestone anymore. Thanks for replying to me on this btw. I have myself in knots over it anxiety through the roof. Think I’m very sleep deprived at the moment!

I can remember the sleep deprivation. It's used as form of torture for a very good reason!

Once she's hit 12 months, are you going to try a bit of gentle night weaning?

Omg it’s the worst isn’t it! Everything feels like a mountain to get through the next day! I actually think I’m gonna try and attempt some gentle sleep training!!!
