4yr DD and poor behaviour

It was steadily getting worse and today was the tipping point. After I picked her up from school, she ran off around the corner and out of sight. I couldn't find her. Lots of parents walking by. I panicked thinking she had ran off into the crowd of parents and onto the busy road. I told a mum friend nearby and she looked after pram which had my baby in. Another friend noticed my panic and said she'd look for my DD. As I tried to inform the member of staff at the school gates to look out for my DD, my friend phoned me to say DD was hiding in a shed (play shed in the reception area).

Honestly, I've never felt such panic, stress and anger towards my DD. I was also relieved beyond measure. I tried my best to explain to DD that she shouldn't run away from mummy and that she could have gotten lost. Her punishment this evening was no TV. Her behaviour has gotten worse ever since I had a baby 6 m ago. I'm at my wits end with her behaviour and I feel like I can't cope. Any advice??

I can't imagine how upsetting and stressful that must have been. If she's at school tomorrow I would get something like a wrist strap and attach her to you. I'd also talk to her Teacher about what happened and ask how she's settling in class both academically and socially Flowers
