Girl Hormones or something else

So I was wondering if anyone can offer any advice? My daughter is 10yrs and in year 6 at school. She has had a rough couple of years with loosing her grandad unexpectedly and her great nan which she was very close to, and since her behaviour has been sumat questionable.

But we put it down to she’s been through a lot recently and maybe hormones. But more recently she has been getting a lot worse in the way of loosing her temper, using bad launguage and this evening she actually physically asssulted me my punching and kicking me when I said no for something due to bad behaviour. Which then went into a barrage of swearing, insults and telling me she hatred me and wished she was dead and wanted to end her life. This has left me absloutly mortified this evening and very concerned and I wanted to no in this normal behaviour for a girl this age or should I be looking at something more. I’m beyond upset right now
