Neurodiverse child and dla

For context we are a family of 5 (3 children, one 6 month baby, one neurotypical 8yo and one neurodiverse 9yo)
We are still awaiting diagnosis however my daughters teacher feels strongly that she is autistic (demand avoidance) and potentially adhd. She has recommended we apply for dla to help with costs towards potential therapy's that may help her. Is this something definitely worth doing? Or are we likely to be knocked back straight away? Any experiences with this would be really helpful!

I would. There's usually a DLA waiting times thread running over in the SN Children section Flowers
