my 7mnth old daughter has started to roll on to her front through the night but then cries as she obviously doesn't like to sleep on her front.she does it 2-3 times a night.any ideas y? she can't roll back on her own yet as she prefers to sit up so doesn't get much practise.

Don't worry she will get there in her own time. Then she will find something else to wake you up for in the night

My DD did this as well once she could roll over. After about a week though, she stopped yelling about it and now sleeps on her front every night, bum stuck up in the air.

have you tried a sleeping bag? get the largest one safe for her age eg 6-18mnth grobag. I then tuck this down the end of the matress and voila! dd is pinned in place. i also use a sheet and blanket over it too, but check your room is not too hot before you do this as it is not recommended. My dd was wriggling out of covers and getting stuck with face in bars at top of cot. This limits her movement and means she only really turns on her side, not right over which she doesn't like either.

I used to put a rolled up towel on each side of ds underneath the sheet over the mattress, which helped to stop him rolling about.
