What do or would you do if your autistic child wouldn’t leave school and has a massive meltdown ? Has this ever happened too anybody. My daughter is now in reception and the last few days has been so so stressful!
Everytime I go too pick her up she will not want to come with me nor hold my hand or anything as she’ll scream throw herself onto the floor which as this point all the parents are staring at me and it gets so embarrassing. My daughter will try and hold anybody literally anybody else’s hand. She is normally really well behaved and will always hold my hand and whenever we are leaving to go school in the mornings also she will do the same and hold my hand apart from when I am picking her up. One parent did help me the other day and held her hand for me to go out the school until we had to go down separate roads and my daughter had to come a different way with me she was screaming.
I don’t understand what this even is or what it could be and struggling so much and I’m dreading picking her up from school every day now .
